ECDL

The European Computer Drivers Licence (known as the International Computer Drivers Licence outside Europe) is an internationally recognised qualification in end-user computer skills.  ECDL/ICDL will increase IT and computer skills and improve job prospects.

ECDL/ICDL is great for those who have used a computer before and want to prove competence by achieveing an internationally recognised standard.

The seven modules that make up ECDL/ICDL are:

  • Basic Concepts of IT
  • Using the computer and managing files
  • Word Processing
  • Spreadsheets
  • Database
  • Presentation
  • Information and Communication

Each training module requires around 30 hours of training before sitting the 45 minute test.  All of the modules are tested separately.
